Public life sciences investments are made under the direction of Consonance Capital Management, a hedge fund manager founded by Mitchell Blutt, MD, and his co-founders, Kevin Livingston and Benny Soffer, MD. Consonance Life Sciences, an affiliate of Consonance Capital Management, is the sponsor of Consonance-HFW Acquisition Corporation, a Special Purpose Acquisition Company, whose management team is focused on identifying and acquiring a private biotechnology company that will then become public.

Private equity investments, which include growth equity, leveraged buyouts, and recapitalizations, are made under the direction of Consonance Capital Partners, a private equity manager co-founded and co-led by Mitchell Blutt, MD, Benjamin Edmands, Stephen McKenna, and Nancy-Ann DeParle. 

 

The Consonance Capital platform was created in 2005.
